French Samphire - 330g
Fresh in from the shores of France this plump and juicy seagrass is brilliant with fish or lamb.
Cooking instructions; Simply blanch it in boiling water for two minutes, drain, add butter, black pepper and lemon and serve.
Samphire grows on the shoreline and is washed by the sea twice a day it is very salty so don’t add any salt while cooking.
The quantity sold is a good portion for two people, it’ll stay fresh in the fridge for a few days, be sure to rinse it well before cooking. The price is £18.75/kg
