Fresh in from the shores of France this plump and juicy sea grass is brilliant with fish or lamb. Simply blanch it is boiling water for two minutes, drain, add butter, black pepper and lemon and serve. As Samphire grows on the shore line and is washed by the sea twice a day it is very salty so don’t add any salt while cooking. The quantity sold is a good portion for two people. It will keep in the fridge for a few days, rinse well before cooking. Price is £14.85/kg
